Darker, Longer Wear Time For Stick Eyeliners.

posted in Beauty > Makeup
  • Sometimes we buy stick eyeliners and we aren't too thrilled on how dark or creamy it is. I have a tip for how to make a cheap eyeliner work exactly like a top of the line eyeliner!

  • First, you will need a lighter and a stick eyeliner. I know it sounds dangerous but trust me, it works like a charm. I buy a Jordana brand eyeliner. Each stick costs me only 99 cents and I buy it at my local dollar store. Any eyeliner will work, just make sure it's not too creamy.

  • Open up the eyeliner and with your lighter, burn the tip of the eyeliner. CAUTION: do not leave the tip under the flame until it melts!!! All you need to do is leave it under for 1 second until the tip gets a little shiny. Blow on the tip until the shininess from the tip goes away.

  • Once the tip is ready, go ahead and apply it to your eyes. You'll be surprised on how easy the eyeliner glides on to your eyelids. Another plus is that since you put it under the lighter , when the eyeliner dries on your eyelid it stays and won't smudge.

  • This tip works best with a hard tip eyeliner, you can repeat the process as many times as you like. Personally this tip works great with the cat eye look. You get a darker shade of black as well!
