DOES AND DON'T FOR LAYERING LONG THICK HAIR <3
Hey y'all I've just recently had the most horrific trip to the hair dressers ever... I went in for a trim and left with three inches of my hair has being cut off because of the mistakes by both the hair dresser that gave me my original layers and myself <3 I don't want this to happen to you x
SO THE DOES!!! DO: Make sure you are using a moisturising shampoo and/or conditioner. Make sure you are washing in moderately hot water rinsing conditioner out in luke warm. Reducing the amount of heat one your hair (straighteners, hair dryers ect.)
THE DONTS: DISCLAIMER: this is only relevant to long thick hair. DO NOT: get layers done by any sort of razor. Sure it may look good but after a week your hair will begin to go coarse, get suddenly greasy and begin breaking. Razors strip the outer protection of the hair leaving it to dry up.
Split ends will duplicate and your hair will slowly begin to break and split higher and higher up the hair. DO NOT WAIT THINKING IT WILL GROW OUT!!!! please as soon as you notice that your hair is drying up, becoming unnaturally greasy or is breaking go to your trusted hair dresser asap!
please like and share <3
I hope this helps you avoid what happened to me :/
