DIY Super Easy, Cute And Functional Refrigerator Magnet
DIY & Crafts
Start with large clothespin, (at Michael's for 1.50 each, I got mine on sale for .50 so keep your eyes open for deals!)
You will also need adhesive magnetic tape. They sell this at any craft store and at places like Target and Walmart.
Measure out the amount of adhesive magnet you will need. I recommend leaving only about a quarter inch of space on both the top and bottom. This clothespin is relatively heavy so it requires a good amount of the magnet to keep it securely in place once hanging on your fridge.
After cutting your magnetic strip, take out your trusty hot glue gun and glue that sucker down! *note* Even though the magnetic tape is adhesive, that alone is not enough to keep it stuck to the back of the clothes pin.
Voíla! Easy right?! But, if you feel like being an over achiever....
You could always personalize it
Or you could find fun art supplies and go glue gun crazy, like me. I happen to have the cute green buttons lying around so I just played around with it. :)
