  • You'll need:
Plastic chicken wire
Fabric cut into strips (could include old te shirts and other clothes or newly bought fabrics)

  • It's optional how big you cut the plastic chicken wire but I suggest cutting it slightly smaller than you'd like the rug to be

  • Cut all your fabrics into strips about 15cm long (this depends on how thick you want the shag of your rug, but I recommend about 15cm, any longer and the pile with just flatten and look limp)

  • Push fabric through a hole in the plastic chicken wire and literally just tie a knot 

You don't need to do this for every hole because that would just take forever, just fill in as much as you can to make a thick shag pile on your rug

File down the points where you've cut the wire just incase
