  • This is literally a 5 minute DIY and it is so easy to do.

  • All you need is...

3 or 5 jam jars
You can use old jam jars or you can go to craft stores and buy jars for around roughly $2. Some good shops are Daiso, Target, Carrefourre, Michaels etc.

  • This is a small glue gun that I bought from Geant for $2.50 It was surprisingly cheap.

  • The glue gun comes with the sticks of glue however you will need to buy an extra few packets as they run out fairly quickly. (I bought a packet for around $1.75)

  • Push the glue stick into the back of the glue gun. Plug it in to a socket and wait a few minutes so the glue has a chance to melt.

  • Draw a line of glue on one side of the jar and quickly press the next jar against it. You need to be quite quick as the glue will dry. If that happens you can just peal it off with you fingers and start again, it's not a big deal.

  • Then draw two lines of each of the bottom jars and press the top jar firmly against the wet glue. As I said, it dries very quickly so you do not need to wait any amount of time.

  • Sorry to be annoying but please be careful as the glue gun can get very hot. Do not touch the metal nib. Also, to make sure the finished design does not get knocked over by your cats or little brothers, you can apply blue tack to the bottom and 'stick' it on your desk! All images are mine Happy DIYing! xoxo
