DIY Fall Acorns
DIY Fall Acorns:
First start off by painting old, cheap and plastic Easter eggs. Add twine and pieces of pinecone to the top of each painted one. Also add a small twig piece for the stem.
DIY Fall Autumn Lights.
DIY Fall Leaf Lights:
Start by buying a string of lights, gather some leaves of all sorts of colors. Wax paper each side and iron both sides to preserve the leaves. Next glue them to each light and hang them where you think they will shine!
DIY Painted stacked pumpkins.
Painted stacked pumpkins:
Start by painting two orange pumpkins white and a green color (or could use any colors). Break the stems off of the two pumpkins. Glue the green pumpkin on top of the white pumpkin, for the top add a twine pumpkin and you can place this cute DIY anywhere.
Enchanting Halloween Lanterns.
Enchanting Halloween Lanterns:
Clean your jars thoroughly as any oily residue will interfere with painting. Spray paint the outsides of the jars. The jars need to stay translucent, so start with a thin layer of paint. Once it is dry, drop a candle inside of one jar and see how the light comes through. If you think that one layer of paint was not enough, you can add another thin layer. If you use our design, print it and insert into the jar. Trace it with a marker. If you make your own design, it may be a better idea to sketch it on a piece of paper first and then insert the piece into the jar
DIY Fall Mason Jars.
Fall Mason Jar Vases:
Paint all the mason jars with one coat of annie sloan chalk paint in old white, and applied with a sponge brush. If you want the jars to have an antique/distressed look, so once they were all painted and fully dry I sanded some parts. To make painting the letters on easier, tape the stencils to the jars, then painted them with acrylic paint in a pretty metallic brown color. Not sure the stencils made it any easier, if you don't have a steady enough hand, you can free hand it. Whatever works for you! Then you are free to add flowers of your choosing!
DIY Pumpkin Vase.
DIY Pumpkin Vase:
Use a small knife to cut the stem off the top of the pumpkin. You’ll want the hole large enough to fit your Styrofoam block. I had to cut my Styrofoam quite a bit to fit inside. Use hot glue to secure the block inside. Begin filling your centerpiece with fall stems and flowers, and leaves. I did use a few tall stems (the faux branches) in the center to give the vase arrangement some height. Once those were in place I added a fall foliage bundle (the orange flowers, cotton branches, and pinecones were all one piece). I used that as my main filler then used smaller pieces to f
DIY Painted Wood Palette.
DIY Wood Palette:
Start off by getting a wood palette, you can use stencils for the chevron design or draw it free hand. Paint the pattern with white or whatever color paint of your choosing. You can pick up small matters at the craft store, paint it and got glue the letter on. You can add straw bows if you like.
DIY Wooden Letter.
DIY Wooden Letter:
For the base of this start with a white wooden letter that I had picked up at Michael’s Craft store. Collect and cut twigs then place them loosely on the letter, you can overlap in some spots. Use a hot glue gun and glue them together making sure they are attached to the wooden letter. As you glue them on make sure there's no white showing, the whole white wooden letter is to be covered completely. Then once your done you can place it anywhere!
DIY Leaf Branch Mobile.
DIY Leaf Branch Mobile:
Collect some leaves, use some wax paper and put some on both sides of the leaves an iron them to preserve them. Attach the leaves to strings by gluing then on, then glue the end of the strings to a branch (nothing to big not thick) so the leaves are hanging down. Then place up in the wall.
DIY Glitter Pumpkin.
DIY Glitter Pumpkin:
Start by painting your pumpkin white, draw a letter of your choosing onto your pumpkin, next outline it in elmers glue and sprinkle some glitter onto the glue. Make sure your glue doesn't smear. You want it to be nice and clean. Now you can put it on your porch or inside your house!
