  • All you need is a mechanical pencil, or a 'clicky' pen. A simple cap pen will not do for this DIY tip. When you have found one, start by taking it completely apart.

  • When you have taken apart your pen / pencil, throw away the rest (or recycle the eraser if good) and use the spring for the next step.

  • Un-Coil the spring and stretch it out to make this an easy job. Take the end of the spring and make it slightly out to side to slide on your charger. Then wrap the spring around the cord until the end. Push the spring towards the end of your charger when done, and wa - lah!
