posted in Skin & Body

  • When I was little, my twin sister + I put dish soap in the tub when we wanted a bubble bath. Needless to say, it was not a good idea. Our mom wasn't too happy about us using 3/4 of her dish soap; bubbles were everywhere. Here's a much better idea - better for your skin!

  • You can use any essential oil; whichever smells the best to you. Lavender or Citrus Fresh are both great options. However, if you're having trouble deciding which essential oil(s) to use, check out my other tips! I have one for essential oils + carrier oils based on skin type! This way, you can have a relaxing bubble bath with the oils that have the properties to better benefit your skin!

TIP | I recommend doing a skin test before using a new oil.

How to find these tips are on the next slide!

  • TO FIND | Go to my profile on Musely. Go to Tips Chloe's Created. Click on Recent. Click the magnifying glass to search + in the search bar, type "best essential oils for your skin type" + "best carrier oils for your skin type"!  I've included the pictures so you know what the tips look like-I have A LOT of tips.

Also, I know that essential oils can be kind of intimidating just because of how many options there are. Don't be afraid to research them, find out what fits your needs best!

  • STEP 1 | Pour your castile soap + glycerin into your container.

NOTE | If you’re using an olive oil jar, you’re going to need a funnel for this.

  • STEP 2 | Add the drops of essential oil.

NOTE | You can add more than the 15-20 drops I list on the recipe, as the water in the bath will dilutie the oils even more - so add as many as you’d like until you get the smell to your liking!
