Cream Cheese Pound Cake

  • Ingredients: 

    1/2 pound sweet butter
    2 cups sugar 
    2 cups sifted PRESTO self-rising cake flour 
    1/2 pound philly cream cheese 
    6 large eggs (if small, add extra yolk) 
    1 teaspoon vanilla

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 

    1.) Cream butter and cream cheese and mix in sugar til fluffy 

    2.) Add eggs, one at a time. Beat very well after each addition. 

    3.) Gradually add flour, beating well. 

    4.) Add vanilla. 

    5.) Bake in buttered and floured 10" Bundt pan for for 55-60 minutes. (Place in middle level of oven). Test with cake tester.
