Crab Rangoon Pizza

• 1 block of cream cheese
• 1/2 small onion (chopped very fine)
• 2 T. horseradish or 1 tsp Sriracha (to taste)
• 1/2 pkg. crab meat (I used imitation)
• 2 green onions
•Asiago/ Parmesan (optional)
•sweet chili sauce
•fried wonton strips*
To make the fried wonton strips cut up several wonton wrappers into strips and either fry or bake. If you choose to bake them set them out on a lined cookie sheet brushed with olive oil. Brush the tops with a bit of olive oil and bake at 400 degrees for 10 min. or until the strips are brown & crispy
Gather up your ingredients!
Mix the onion, cream cheese, and horseradish (or Sriracha) with a mixer.
Spread an even layer on pizza crust.
Flake the crab and sprinkle over cream cheese layer.
Sprinkle on your cheese
Chop up green onions and put over cheese. Put into your oven for 20-25 min at 400 degrees, or until cheese has melted and edges brown.
While still hot pout sweet chili sauce over it and put back into the oven for 2-3 min just to heat up sauce.
Sprinkle wonton strips over pizza and voila!
You can use this on flatbread or any type of crust you have. I've used the cream cheese layer and a bit of the crab as a filling for crab rangoons. The possibilities are endless! When using this recipe for a pizza I was able to make two 12in pizzas from this one batch.
