Before contouring you should apply your usual makeup, foundation or BB cream.
The colour you choose for contour should be a shade darker than your foundation or facial cream. Your high light should be lighter than your foundation or facial cream and should brighten and lighten your facial parts
When applying your contour, use an angled brush to create a clearer line and to help with your direction.
When applying contour, you must focus on the high points of your face, such as your cheek bones, nose bridge, chin and forehead.
Apply contour to the area you would like to indent or sharpen to make more noticeable, such as your cheek bones.
use the colour a shade darker than your skin tone to make your area evenly noticeable. Only use one line to indent.
add high light above your contour to make it stand out more.
Blend all the areas of contour one by one and evenly spread them together so that your contour is not mixing drastically.
You want your high light and shader to fade into each other not mask eachother.
When all is blended and your high points are indented, add a blush to the apples of your cheeks
