Coconut Rice is a traditional rice preparation of south India. Cooked/ steamed rice added with fresh grated coconut, curry leaves and some spices.
Channa Dal 1Tsp
Curyy Leaves 5Leaf
Salt to Taste
Chopped Ginger 6
Mustard Seeds 1Tsp
Green Chillies. 1
Coconut Oil 2Tsp
Grated Coconut 2Cup
Boiled Rice 6Cup
Red Chilli 3
Urad Dal 1 tsp
cook rice saperatly.
Make sure it is fulffy.
Heat ghee in a pan.
Add cumin,mustard ,red chilli whole and saute till the aroma is released.
Now add the channnadal,urad dal ,chillies,ginger, curry leaves cashew nuts, and saute till soft.
Then add the coconut grated and sugar.
Then add the rice and fry for 2-3 minutes .
