  • STEP 1

    Eat Right

    ▪️Drink plenty of water
    ▪️Eat plenty fruit & vegetables - avocados are great! Randomly I find eating apples helps my skins appearance. Also I've heard eating apples are great for healthier, whiter teeth which is a bonus!
    ▪️Eat nuts & almonds - particularly Brazil nuts (PS almond oil is great for your hair,massage it in your scalp and through to the ends and leave for 1 hour then rinse thoroughly with shampoo)
    ▪️Drink peppermint tea - this is very calming and relieves stress which can be a cause for acne
    🔹Enjoy a balanced diet & exercise🔹

    Daily Skin Routine

    ▫️Depending on how oily your skin is depends on how often you need to wash your face, I wash my face once to twice a day and avoid using soap on my face. Remember warm water opens your pores and cold water closes them so wash your face initially with warm water then splash cold water on afterwards. I find this helps reduce the appearance of pores and my makeup goes on smoother after I have used cold water.

    ▫️Use moisturiser - my skin can be quite sensitive so I stick to a brand i know suits my skin, I hate having oily skin so I use Simple Kind to Skin Protecting Light Moisturiser.

    ▫️Using makeup wipes can apparently cause breakouts so if you use makeup wipes, wash your face afterwards or splash cold water over your face. I use makeup wipes each night but sometimes I wash my face afterwards too.

    ▫️Back to moisturiser again - if your skin is dry try Olay Total Effects 7 Day Moisturiser. I use this every so often.

  • STEP 2 Continued

    ▫️ When pimples arise, I clean the area and before bed apply a dab of Savlon. The purpose of this product is to clean and stop infection so I find this great on pimples and find that it reduces them overnight. I hope this works for you too!

  • STEP 3

    FINALLY

    🔹 Minimise stress in any way possible - so as I mentioned before drink peppermint tea. Make time to relax and get a good nights sleep, 7-9 hours.
