Cinnamon Roll Cupcakes🎂

  • Ingredients

    • 1 package of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls
    • Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting
    • 6 ounces of cream cheese softened
    • 2 tablespoons butter room temperature
    • 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    • 4 cups powdered sugar
    • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
    • 1 tablespoon heavy cream
    • Cinnamon Sugar Swirl
    • 2 tablespoons butter room temperature
    • 1/4 cup sugar
    • 2 tablespoon cinnamon

  • Instructions

    1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line cupcake tray with liners.
    2. Open the package of cinnamon rolls and separate the dough, placing one cinnamon roll per cupcake liner.
    3. Bake for 10-12 mins until cooked through. Top will be golden brown.

  • Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting
  • Add ingredients into large mixing bowl. Mix starting on low speed for 2 minutes. Then mix on medium speed for an additional 3 minutes. Frosting will start to peak.

  • Cinnamon Sugar Swirl
  • In a smaller bowl add the ingredients, and mix together with a fork. It will form a paste type consistency.
  • To create the swirl on the cupcakes I added the frosting to a piping bag, and then added the cinnamon sugar mixture to the side of the same piping bag. I used a Wilton 2D frosting tip. There is only a small amount of cinnamon sugar mixture, so it will be a small swirl when you frost the cupcakes.
