  • Serves 6
    A favorite molten cake perfect for those special evenings

    Prep Time - 20 min
    Cook Time - 10 min
    Total Time - 40 min

  • Ingredients
    4 tbsp butter
    1/3 cup sugar
    3 eggs
    1/3 cup all purpose flour
    1/4 tsp salt
    4 oz bittersweet chocolate, melted
    4 oz semisweet chocolate, melted

  • Instructions
    1.Preheat oven to 400
    2.Spray 6 cups of a standard muffin tin with nonstick spray
    3.In the bowl of an electric mixer, with a paddle attachment, cream the butter and sugar together until fluffy
    4.Add eggs in one at a time mixing well after each addition

  • 5.With mixer on low mix in flour and salt until just combined
    6.Beat in melted chocolate until just combined
    7.Divide batter evenly between prepared muffin tins - I used an ice cream scoop
    8.Place muffin tin on a baking sheet and bake just until the tops no longer jiggle, about 8-10 minutes

  • 9.Let stand for at least 10 minutes before serving, and top with a little powder sugar when ready to serve
    11.ENJOY!!
