  • What you need:
Oreos
Melting chocolate 
Candy sticks
Anything you want to decorate them with(coloured chocolate)

  • First step. Melt the chocolate in a double broiler. 

A double broiler is a little bit of water in a pot and place a glass bowl on top( dont let the water touch the bottom of the bowl)

  • Split the oreos in half

  • Push the candy stick up the cream 3/4 of the way.

  • Add some melted chocolate  over the stick and cover with the other half of the oreo.

  • Place the pop on something like wax paper.. I didnt have any so i used a ziplock baggie

Once your finished place them in the fridge for 10 minutes to let the chocolate harden

  • Once cold. Dip the oreo into the chocolate. 

If your chocolate is really thick, add a little bit of vegetable shortening to make it thinner and easy to work with.

  • Lift and spin the oreo gently to get off the access chocolate.

  • Put back in the fridge to harden again for 10 minutes. I dipped mine 2 times to cover the oreo.

  • After each dip and cool(in the fridge) i took scissors and trimmed off the edges to make it smooth and less ugly

  • Then decorate however you like!!
