  • Ingredients

    1 Sheet Frozen Puff Pastry (thawed)
    Caramel Apple Pie Dip*
    1 cup Heavy Cream
    4 oz. Mascarpone (room temp)
    ¼ cup Confectioners’ Sugar
    3 tbsp Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix
    1 Egg
    1 tsp water
    Sugar
    Caramel Sauce

  • Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400 F.

    Cut thawed pastry sheet into 9 even squares.

    Place evenly apart on a parchment lined baking sheet.

    In a small bowl, wisk together egg and water to make egg wash.

    Brush egg wash over the pastry dough.

    Sprinkle with sugar.

    Bake for about 10 minutes until dough is puffed up and golden.

  • Meanwhile, make Caramel Apple Pie Dip (recipe to follow)

    Then prepare cream filling by beating heavy cream, mascarpone, confectioners’ sugar, and vanilla pudding mix together until still and fluffy.

    Once pastries have cooled, gently pull apart the tops and bottoms of them.

    Pipe cream onto the bottom half of each pastry.

    Spoon Caramel Apple Pie Dip onto each cream topped pastry.

    Place the top half of the pastry on top of the cream and dip.

    Drizzle the top of each napoleon with caramel sauce.

  • Caramel Apple Pie Dip Recipe

    Ingredients

    2 cups petite diced Apples (About 3 medium apples)
    2 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice ( Half a Lemon)
    3 tbsp Light Brown Sugar
    ½ tsp Apple Pie Spice
    1 tsp Corn Starch
    1 tsp Water
    1-2 tbsp Caramel Sauce

  • Instructions

    Combine chopped apples, lemon juice, light brown sugar, and apple pie spice in a medium pot.

    Cook over low-medium heat until the juice from the apple begins to boil.

    Dissolve corn starch in water in a separate bowl and stir into apple mixture.

    Bring to a boil again and allow mix to thicken.

    Add in caramel at the end and pour into serving dish.
