Buttered Rum Smoothie

  • This drink is great for any season. The vanilla and cinnamon really reminds me of Autumn, my favorite season. The flavors and scent of this will kick start your senses for sure. The cooler months are just ahead so now is a great time to save this recipe. Fall and Winter will be here before we know it.🍁❄

  • The following ingredients make one drink:
    3 tbs Rum (I use Captain Morgan Spiced Rum)
    1 c softened vanilla ice cream
    1 c brown sugar
    1/2 c butter
    Nutmeg & Cinnamon to decorate

  • Put the sugar and butter in a pan on the stove. Make sure the butter is melted and its thoroughly mixed.
    When that's done put it in either the fridge or freezer for a lil while.
    If frozen, put 1 scoop of that mixture in a glass with 3 tbs rum.
    If it's chilled, put 1/4 c of it in a glass with the rum.
    Fill the glass up with boiling water
    Top it off with whipped cream
    Sprinkle Nutmeg and Cinnamon on top
    Or put 1 cinnamon stick in the drink
