Bonoffee Pie With A Chocolate Hob Nob Base

1 x 400g tin caramel or make your own caramel from sugar, condensed milk and butter ( see on youtube) or simply boil evaporated milk
3 large bananas
12 oz choc hobnobs (roughly 1 pack)
3 tblsp butter
10 1/2 fl oz whipping cream
choc flake to decorate
1 Put the biscuits in a blender and jooge into fine crumbs and then stir in the melted butter. Put into a buttered 18cm greased springform tin. If you don't have a blender a bag and a rolling pin work just fine! ( I did this)
2 Press the biscuit mixture in to the tin and up the sides. Pop into the fridge for half an hour.
Once this is done spread the caramel on to the biscuit base and refrigerate for another 30 minutes
After 30mins slice the bananas as evenly as possible and spread over the pie
Now whip the whipping cream until it forms stiff peaks so it's thick enough to place on top of your pie (see on youtube) a Cold spoon, cream and bowl works best. I used my hand held whisk as it does take a while if you don't.
