Best Makeup For Rosy Cheeks And Rosacea Without Paying An Arm And A Leg
If you are like me, you have some pretty rosy cheeks. So rosy, in fact, that it seems no makeup wants to cover it. I've always envied my friends who could apply just a BB or CC cream and have a flawless face. Through trial & error I have found out what works, what doesn't & I want to share with you!
Germaine de Capuccini creams are by far the most amazing creams I have ever come across. There is a specific one called "Pure C Essence Ampoules" that is EXCELLENT for rosacea. These products are pricey but they DO help, I know from experience, & will have you on the road to a more even complexion.
If you have rosacea, please, PLEASE apply sunscreen to your face. Your face is more likely to burn than the average person. Apply a small amount of sunscreen with your moisturizer before your makeup regime. You can also find moisturizers with SPF's in them! Mix with your Germaine moisturizer!
Mac does make some amazing concealers but you can also find ones at your local drug store that will also do the trick. I like to use the FIT ME concealer by Maybelline. Apply the concealer before your foundation. Apply to the areas in which you feel to be the most problematic. Use tapping method.
After trying DOZENS of foundations, this one proved to be the best. Dreams Matte Mousse by Maybelline. This stuff feels AMAZING when you put it on. Avoid rubbing this onto your face as this will cause the skin to become more red, instead, try a tapping motion to blend it onto your skin.
This Stay Matte finishing powder by Maybelline will keep your foundation in place all day. I would find that without a finishing powder, my rosacea would peek through throughout the day as my foundation wore off. With this powder you can be sure that your makeup won't move a muscle.
Avoid using blush. This kind of defeats the purpose of covering your rosy cheeks. Instead, opt for a face shimmer. Lightly dust onto the apples of your cheeks for an instant glow! Any drugstore face shimmer will do!
Hope you guys found these tips helpful. I really wish there was someone to tell me about these products! But with trial and error comes perfection. Please don;t forget to like before you save and follow for more tips!
