You will need:
1 teaspoon of grated ginger
Half a large lemon
2 teaspoons of good quality honey
Boil the kettle, while it's boiling grate roughly 1 teaspoon of ginger and place in a cup. Add the boiled water to the cup and allow the ginger to in fuse for around 1 to 2 minutes.
Now using a small sieve (or any other straining device you may have) carefully drain the water into another cup and discard the ginger.
Add the juice of half a squeezed lemon and 2 teaspoons of honey to the cup.
A perfect homemade cold or flu remedy for all the family. Enjoy :)
For that extra kick you can also add garlic or a small shot of brandy.
