250 g cooked chickpeas
2 heaping tbsp tahini
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 or 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
1 garlic clove
1 level tbsp ground cumin
chickpea cooking water
1 small chili pepper
2 red bell peppers
Prepare the roasted peppers in advance: bake whole peppers in the pre-heated oven (250°C) for about 20-30 minutes (flipping them once). You can prick them with a fork before baking, but it's not mandatory (as they don't explode like aubergines would do if you forget to prick them). Once the roasted peppers are ready, put them in a sealed plastic bag for about 5 minutes: this steaming process makes them easier to peel. Let them cool down to room temperature.
Prepare the hummus: blend all ingredients, adding some chickpea cooking water until you reach the desired consistency.
