Basic, Simple Makeup Look Which Requires 10 Simple Steps Enjoy!

  • 1. Moisturising is the key to fresh-looking skin. It creates the perfect base for makeup...

For normal skin use a light weight moisturising lotion. For dry skin, use a rich hydrating cream or balm. For oily skin, use an oil free formula that hydrates and helps control oil...

Also always begin with a lightweight eye cream, for a smoother and even look on concealer...

When skin looks dull use an exfoliant to help Slough off dead skin cells for example lush sea salt scrub...

  • 2. Use a corrector/concealer...

Choose a concealer of your choice... I like to use the Rimmel London anti-fatigue concealer (the one with the Orange lid!) in Ivory...

Apply this in a triangular motion, I prefer to blend concealer out with a sponge applicator

  • 3. Powder...

For crease free long wear, just apply any powder you have/like I use the Rimmel London clear complexion powder...

Apply powder in your correct skin tone shade, also use powder to set you concealer...

  • 4. Blusher...

Apply your favourite shade of blush to the apples of your cheeks for a natural flush look...

    For long lasting results either

    Use a cream blush

Later a pop of brighter blush on top

Then for an extra glow simply add an highlighter or even a light eyeshadow to your cheekbones...

  • 5. Lip balm...

Finally add a lip balm/ lip gloss of your choice

I prefer using tinted lip balms as they are very moisturising, yet give a nice flow to your lips

For example Blistex blushing tinted lip balm...

  • Hope this helped you complete a simple yet, finishing look...
