BANANA SPLIT ICE CREAM CAKE

  • INGREDIENTS:

    1 box of pillsbury moist strawberry supreme cake mix
    2 pints of chocolate arctic zero (softened)
    2 pints of vanilla maple arctic zero (softened)
    12 ounce’s of diet cream soda (make sure it’s diet!)
    1 1/2 containers of fat free cool whip
    1/4 cup chopped walnuts
    1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
    Light chocolate Syrup
    About 5 banana split Oreo’s
    1/4 cup maraschino cherries
    Fresh strawberries thinly sliced (about 10 strawberries)
    Fresh pineapple thinly sliced (about 1/4 pineapple)
    Sliced Bananas (about 4 banana’s)

  • METHOD:

    Preheat oven as directed on cake box

    Blend 12 ounces of soda into cake mix for about 2 minutes (that’s it!)

    Pour batter into a 9 x 13 greased pan and bake as directed

    Once cake is cooled completely, cut in half horizontally

    Using the same 9 x 13 pan, place one half of the cake in the bottom of the pan

    On top of the cake evenly spread the 2 pints of vanilla maple arctic zero

    On top of that vanilla ice cream place banana slices into one line, then interchange strawberry and pineapple slices in the next time and repeat until the ice cream is covered with fruit

  • Place the second piece of cake on top of the fruit and evenly spread the chocolate arctic zero on top of the cake

    Spread your cool whip all over the top of the chocolate ice cream

    On top of the cool whip do your rows with the fruit again

    Sprinkle chopped walnuts, cherries, mini chocolate chips and broken Oreo’s evenly over the fruit

    Drizzle with light chocolate syrup

    Freeze cake for about 8 hours before eating

    Also, when you are ready to eat the cake I would let it sit out at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cutting
