5 Workout And Fitness Motivation Tips

  • 1.One way that I find really helpful is to get good quality and/or cute fitness gear and kit.

    You don't have to spend a lot of money, but for me have good stuff to wear or use whilst keeping fit encourages me to workout as I WANT to use my stuff.
    Good gear can range from trainers to tips to water bottles or skipping ropes. Anything that'll help you get motivated to use.

  • 2.A second tip for motivation is to find some form of exercise that you enjoy to do.

    You don't always have to go running or go to the gym. Working out won't be enjoyable if the activity isn't enjoyable. Either find a new activity that you find fun, such as swimming or trampolining, or join a club such as football, netball or anything that pleases you.
    I am part of a karate club and as well as being really passionate for the art I find it great motivation to work out as well.

  • 3.Tip three is to plan your time and plan when your going to work out.

    You can put it on a to do list or write it in your planner, but if it's written down you are more likely not to back out. Write down what you want to accomplish that day or that session so you know how hard to push yourself.
    But remember never get discouraged if you aren't always reaching your goals.

  • 4.A fourth tip is to find a friend or family member to try with you.

    This can make joining a club easier as you have someone you know doing it with you. Yet it can also make just everyday workouts more fun and more likely to happen as you don't want to back out and let your friend down.

  • 5.Finally, my last tip is to have a goal. Make sure it's a realistic one too.

    Having a goal set out that you want to reach will help to motivate you as you have something worthwhile at the end of your hard work.
    Goals can be anything like losing weight, getting healthier, improving your cardiovascular fitness or just being happier as a person because you feel like you've accomplished something.
    Remember to have realistic goals and don't make them too specific such as "I want to lose 10lbs". Make them more rounded like "I want to lose weight" that way you're are less likely to get discouraged.
