5 Home Remedies For A Sore Throat

  • 1: Salt & Vinegar Chips

Eating these will kill off some bacteria as they slide down your throat.

  • 2: Salt Water Gargle

Mix a ratio of about 1:4 sea salt with warm water. Gargle the whole glass opening up your throat as much as you can without swallowing.

  • 3: Cayenne Pepper Gargle

    *Spicy!*

Now this one is not too pleasant, but it does help. Like before, mix about a 1:4 ratio of cayenne pepper powder to warm water and gargle. Have a glass of tea or cool water sitting by as a chaser.

  • 4: Alcohol

Seems pretty straight forward, but you just drink it. It will kill off the bacteria, repeat as needed but use wisely. If underage, use mouthwash as a gargle instead.

  • 5: Honey and Lemon Tea

Mix 2-3 tbsp of honey with hot water and add a squeeze of lemon juice. Let cool for a while, then drink warm.
