You can get curly hair over night just by braiding your hair. Depending on what curl you want, if you want wavy thin curls you can do multiple three strand braids. Divide your hair into 4 or more sections depending on how big you want your curls to be. Braid each section than tie the ends of each. Than go sleep and take out the braids delicately.
