    •1 11 oz. can mandarin oranges in juice
    •1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
    •1/2 cup vanilla yogurt or vanilla soy yogurt
    •1 Tbsp. honey
    •1 cup vanilla soy milk
    •1/2 cup ice

    1.Open can of oranges and drain. Place in a zip-top plastic bag and freeze several hours.
    2.Place the frozen oranges and pineapple chunks in the bottom of a blender, Vita Mix, or food processor.
    3.Add the remaining ingredients in the order listed. Puree until the mixture reaches the texture of a milkshake. Add more ice, if desired, until an icy consistency is achieved

    •3 cups 1/2-inch chunks of seedless watermelon (the smaller the chunks, the easier it is to blend this watermelon smoothie)
    •1 cup milk
    •1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
    •3 Tbsp. maple syrup


    1.Make sure watermelon chunks are fairly small - about 1/2 inch. Cut in half if necessary. This is important, because the smaller the chunks, the easier it will be to blend the smoothie. Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper. Place watermelon on the cookie sheet, leaving space between the pieces. Freeze 1 hour. Or if preparing the watermelon in advance for smoothies later in the week, transfer to a plastic storage bag and freeze until ready to use.
    2.Place watermelon chunks in a Vita Mix Blender (compare prices) or regular blender.
    3.Top with remaining ingredients.

    •4 cups water
    •1 cup sugar
    •1 quart fresh strawberries
    •1 cup freshly-squeezed lemon juice (about 5-6 lemons)
    •2 cups cold plain seltzer water or club soda

    1.Combine water, sugar, strawberries and lemon juice in a blender. Puree until smooth.

    2.Pour strawberry lemonade into glasses, filling glasses two-thirds of the way. Pour seltzer water on top of strawberry lemonade.

    •2 cups fresh or frozen peaches, peeled and sliced
    •1/2 cup pineapple juice
    •1/2 cup vanilla soy milk
    •1/4 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
    •ice (if using fresh peaches)

    1.Combine ingredients in the order listed in a blender, Vita Mix or food processor. If using fresh peaches, add ice.

    2.Puree until smooth. If you prefer a more milkshake-like consistency, add more ice
