  • Gooey Chocolate Cake Cups for Two {in 2 minutes!}
    Yield: 2 cups of cake

    ingredients
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour

    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cocoa powder
    big pinch of salt
    1/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    2 large eggs, lightly beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    heaping 1/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips, plus a few more for sprinkling on top
    preparation
    In a small mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt. Add milk, butter, eggs, and vanilla. Stir well to incorporate. Fold in chocolate chips. Divide batter between 2 microwave-safe cups and cook for 2 minutes. Enjoy!

  • 5 Minute Chocolate Fudge S’mores Mug Cake
    makes 1 serving, can easily be doubled

    -2-3 tablespoons graham cracker crumbs
    -3 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
    -2 tablespoons granulated sugar
    -1 large egg
    -1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    -1/4 cup whole wheat pastry flour
    -2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (mine was dark cocoa, hence the dark color)
    -1/8 teaspoon baking powder
    -pinch of salt
    -1 1/2 ounces milk chocolate (chopped or morsels)
    -marshmallow fluff, cream or actual marshmallows

  • Eggless Chocolate Mug Cake
    Ingredients

    All purpose flour (unbleached, enriched) -- 2 Tbsp
    Unsweetened Cocoa Powder -- 2 tsp
    Baking Powder -- 1/4 tsp
    Salt -- a pinch
    Milk (or almond milk) -- 2 Tbsp
    Oil -- 1 Tbsp
    handful of mini chocolate chips
    Almond Butter (or Jam, Caramel Sauce, Nutella, Peanut Butter) 1 Tbsp
    Instructions

    In a small bowl mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt until no lumps remain
    Stir in the milk and oil until smooth.
    Scrap the combined batter in to a small mug (half size of the original). Mix in the chocolate chips. Drop in the almond butter, microwave for 1 min

  • CHOCOLATE ESPRESSO MUG CAKE

    All purpose flour- 3 tbsp
    Instant coffee powder-1 tsp
    Drinking chocolate powder or sweetened cocoa powder-2 tbsp
    Sugar- 2 1/2 to 3 tbsp
    Baking powder- 1/4 tsp
    Milk- 2tbsp
    Egg- 1 no
    Oil-2 tbsp
    Vanilla extract-1/2 tsp

    In a mixing bowl combine all purpose flour,coffee powder,sugar and baking powder.Mix well.
    Add milk,egg ,oil and vanilla extract stir with fork just until combined.
    Pour this into a greased mug and microwave on high for 90 seconds( or a few seconds more) until cooked through
    Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or simply dust with powdered sugar

  • Oatmeal Crunch Cookie in a Cup

    1 Tablespoon butter, melted
    1 Tablespoon granulated sugar
    1 Tablespoon brown sugar
    1/4 teaspoon vanilla
    1 egg yolk
    dash of salt
    3 Tablespoons All Purpose Flour
    1 1/2 tablespoons of Oatmeal (I used Old Fashioned Oats...you can use what you have on hand)
    1 1/2 tablespoons of Corn Flakes

    MAKE IT!
    Melt the butter in a microwave safe mug or bowl or jar
    Add the sugar and brown sugar; mix well.
    Add the vanilla, salt, egg yolk, Oatmeal, and Corn Flakes; mix well.
    Microwave for 40 seconds and check for doneness. In my microwave, it takes about 55 seconds.

  • 2-Minute French Toast in a Cup
    -First you need bread you’ll need one or two pieces of bread per cup.
    -Cube your bread.
    -Get your cup or cups ready. Butter the inside
    -Place the bread in the cup of your choosing About a slice or a slice and a half will do it Smoosh it down a bit
    Now in a separate cup do the following:
    -crack an egg into it
    -add 3 tablespoons of milk
    -sprinkle cinnamon
    -if you like your french toast really sweet or vanilla-y, add a single drop of vanilla extract
    -Mix it all together with a fork pour into cup
    Microwave for 1 min then add 10 seconds at a time until done!

  • Chocolate Peanut Butter Mug Cake

    2 tablespoons butter
    2 tablespoons peanut butter
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    1 egg
    2 tablespoons sugar
    2 tablespoons flour
    3 tablespoons cocoa powder
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    1/8 teaspoon baking powder
    3 tablespoons chocolate chips

    Melt the butter in a small dish. Add the peanut butter and mix well.
    In the mug, mix together the vanilla, egg, and sugar until well combined. Combine the flour, cocoa, salt, and baking powder and add to the mug. Pour in the peanut butter/butter mixture and mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips. Put in the microwave for 1-2 minutes until done!

  • NUTELLA MUG CAKE

    INGREDIENTS
    4 tablespoons self-rising flour
    4 tablespoons sugar
    1 egg
    3 tablespoons cocoa powder
    3 tablespoons Nutella
    3 tablespoons milk
    3 tablespoons vegetable oil

    INSTRUCTIONS
    Combine all ingredients in a large coffee mug.
    Whisk well with a fork until smooth.
    Microwave on high for 1½– 3 minutes. (Time depends on microwave; mine took 1½ minutes.)
    Top Mug Cakes with whipped cream and chocolate sauce

    Add a tablespoon of butter to a cup
    Soften it in the microwave for 10-15 seconds

    If you want some crumb topping in a separate bowl add 1 tablespoon butter, 2 tablespoons flour, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
    Smoosh it together with your fingers
    Add the crumb topping mixture to the cup
    Then microwave it. Start with 1 minute, then do 10 seconds more

  • Pumpkin Coffee Cake in a Mug

    1 Tbsp butter
    2 tbsp sugar
    2 tbsp pumpkin puree
    vanilla extract, few drops
    1/4 C All Purpose flour
    1/8 tsp baking powder
    pinch of salt
    pinch of ground cloves
    1 tbsp butter
    2 tbsp flour
    1 tbsp brown sugar
    1/4 tsp cinnamon

    In a mug soften butter in microwave, about 5 seconds. You don’t want it melted, just soft. Stir sugar and mix well. Stir in pumpkin, vanilla (just a tiny bit, we’re talking drops) flour, baking powder, and pinch of salt and cloves; stirring until just combined. Use the back of your spoon to smooth it out in the bottom of the mug.

    Want streusel? In a separate, small bowl, combine 1 tbsp of butter, 2 tbsp of flour, 1 tbsp of brown sugar, and 1/4 tsp cinnamon. Use your fingers to to pinch the butter and mix it in with the other ingredients. When it starts to look like lumpy sand, and all ingredients are combined, pour on top of cake batter in mug.
    Cook in the microwave for 50-80 seconds.

  • Chocolate Peppermint Mug Cake

    1 16oz Microwave-safe coffee mug
    4 tbsp all purpose flour
    4 tbsp sugar
    3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
    1/4 tsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 tbsp coconut oil (other vegetable oils will also work)
    3 tbsp buttermilk (regular milk will work just fine)
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    2 tbsp hot coffee
    1/4 tsp mint extract
    1 crushed peppermint candy cane, divided
    1 Dollop of marshmallow fluff or frosting.
    Place all ingredients (minus crushed candy cane) in the mug and mix together, being sure to scrape the bottom and sides to incorporate all dry ingredients into the wet.

    Add half the crushed candy cane and mix well.
    Place in microwave and bake on high for 2 to 2-1/2 minutes.
    Remove from microwave and let stand for a couple minutes
    Top with frosting or marshmallow fluff and sprinkle with remaining crushed candy cane.

  • Molten Marshmallow Fudge Cake in a Mug

    1 Tablespoon butter
    1 Tablespoon Sugar
    1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
    1 egg yolk
    3 Tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
    2 Tablespoon chocolate chips
    1 Marshmallow

    Place butter in a cup and melt it in the microwave, about 30 seconds.
    Add chocolate chips; stir to melt. If the chips do not melt cook in microwave for about 10 seconds, and stir again, until melted. Watch out so you do not burn the chocolate
    Add sugar,vanilla, egg yolk, flour; mix well
    Place in the microwave and cook for 40seconds. Then remove the mug and place the marshmallow in the center.

    Cook it for 10 more seconds;
    added my marshmallow; and then cooked for another 10 seconds...for a total of about 60 seconds...in my microwave. Cooking times vary with microwaves.
    Don't overcook.
