After two or three minutes, stop the dishwasher and add a container of Tang.
Let it run the whole cycle.
    That’s it!

    Prevent Soap Scum Buildup
  • To prevent soap scum buildup in the shower, simply spray the walls, doors or curtains with white vinegar. On a regular basis, rub the tiles and tub itself with lemon oil, baby oil, or car/boat wax. Spending 2 extra minutes doing this during your shower once or twice a week will cut down on the 20 or more minutes it might take to clean it later!

    – Clean Stove Drip Pans with Ammonia
  • What you’ll need:

    1. Dirty stove drip pan
    2. Ziploc Bag
    3. Ammonia
    4. Measuring Cup
    5. Scour Pad
    6. Baking soda (optional)
    7. Peroxide (optional)

How to clean stove drip pans with ammonia

    1. Place dirty drip pan into a Ziploc bag.

    2. Pour 1/4 cup ammonia into the bag.

    3. Seal it shut.

    4. Place it outside in the sun (one post said the sun helped vaporize the ammonia, which is what does the cleaning – the vapors).

    5. Leave it outside overnight. I left mine outside for almost 24 hours. You don’t necessarily have to leave it outside, but ammonia stinks, and my bag did end up leaking, so

  • so I am thankful it was outside.

    6. Bring it inside, hold your nose, and dump the ammonia out.

    7. Wipe off the dirt and grim with a scour pad.

    8. And voila! Clean!

  • Lemon Spray – 20 drops of Lemon essential oil for a 4 oz glass (must be glass or stainless steel) spray bottle. This spray is extremely powerful. I use it to clean my microwave, stuck on grease, stuck on anything really. It’ll dissolve permanent marker stains on the wall (personal experience sad to say), it’ll clean your kitchen table spotless, it’ll dissolve gum! It works period. I used to hate cleaning my microwave, now I just spray it, wait 1-2 minutes, come back, and it all comes off. It’s my secret weapon that saves me time and money. 4 oz only costs me 48¢ to make!
