16 Great Uses For Baby Powder!
So you found our baby powder works great as dry shampoo and now you have a whole bottle. There's got to be more to do with it. There is! Read on!
Pet dry shampoo: that's right, it doesn't have to be just for humans!
Stuffed animal cleaner: can't separate your child (or yourself) from an old stuffed animal? Use baby powder to freshen it up!
Under the bed sheets: it will absorb sweat while giving you a pleasant smell to drift off to!
Mouldy books: books left too long develop unpleasant odours and grime. Sprinkle them with baby powder to breathe some life into them!
Plump up eyelashes by dusting some baby powder over them in between coats.
Chafe free: before a run or venturing out on a sweaty day rub some baby powder on your thighs.
Waxing made easier: before waxing sprinkle some baby powder onto the area before applying the wax.
Stench free sneakers: sprinkle some baby powder into sneakers to absorb the smell.
Squeaky floorboards: sprinkle some baby powder onto the floor and sweep it into the cracks. It should help with the noise.
Tangled necklace: dust a little baby powder on it to make it easier to untangle.
Deodorant: I don't mean go out and buy some, I mean you can use the actual powder as deodorant. It's a great sweat absorber and smells so good. Admittedly though, the dove baby powder deodorant is my all time favourite.
Kitty litter help: it makes a great litter freshner! When kitty moves the litter around it brings out the baby powder smell.
Diy blush: mix a few drops of red food colouring with some water. Then sprinkle in baby powder and mix until you get a consistency like shown above. Put it into makeup container (an empty blush container, perhaps) and let it air dry. The colour will dry much darker so don't worry if it looks light.
Set makeup: after applying makeup, dust baby powder over top for extra hold. Let your makeup dry first. You can also dust some over your entire body for smoothness and a lovely scent.
Massage: massage with baby powder. Do it!
Dry shampoo: If baby powder alone is unsatisfactory add some baking soda to the mix and see how that does.
