  • All of these designs I did on my own natural nails using only polish! For these ones I grew them out super long, filed them to a blunt tip, then painted a heart...you could use the large blunted end of a makeup brush (or something similar to make 2 circles and paint the tip if it's easier.

  • Roses! These took forever because I hand painted them. Practice on paper to get the look you want. I used a super fine paintbrush (because it's hard to find nail art supplies where I live). Don't drink coffee first (hand shaking πŸ™ˆ) and PRACTICE! Having steady hands takes practice.

  • These are similar to the last ones, except I angled the tips how I wanted and added a little different design.

  • This was soooo easy! I used a white base coat, cute strips of scotch tape, placed them, then pained the blue. For the accent nail I painted the additional outside lines with a brush.

  • OmbrΓ©, gradient, whatever you call them I love it! I used a white base coat and a makeup sponge. Make sure it's always wet and not tacky or the sponge bits will come off on your nails. It takes a while, but well worth it! Also, use a qtip dipped in polish remover to clean up around the nails.

  • For these I pained an orange base coat, then dotted on orange and pink in different places on the nail. While it was still wet I placed a small square of plastic food wrap on the nail and pressed gently and removed.

  • The two swirl nails are similar in technique to the last post except I used a freezer bag square instead of plastic wrap and used three colors. For the flower nail I used a bobby pin and made a circle of five dots, let it dry and put on clear coat, and while still wet placed the silver dots.

  • Water marble nails! There are many videos out there, I would just make sure you find a runny polish. Also I used a bobby pin to make the flowers and dots on the middle finger. Also I used a white base coat on all the nails to make the colors pop.

  • Colorful and funky! Not my favorite, but I got a lot of compliments while in the Caribbean. I dotted a bunch of colors on white base coat and placed a small square of plastic wrap on them while still wet, then pressed and removed. Don't smear the plastic wrap or the colors will mix and look muddy.

  • Glitter placement! You can use a toothpick. Dip it in a little clear coat and pick up a piece of glitter from the brush wand. Put it where you want it on the nail and press it down. Repeat until you get the design you want.
