Want your hair to become longer, stronger and healthier?
Over the last 6 months I've been using these simple tricks and my hair has grown more than a foot!
Use less heat, obviously it helps not cause split ends and breakage. It does take a while to get used to.
At least once a week, do a hot oil treatment. I use a mixture of castor, avocado, coconut and olive oil. I boil water, put my oil bottle in the water (off the heat) and let it sit for 10-15 minutes before applying it to my scalp and massaging it in. Leave it in however long you're comfortable with, I range anywhere from 15 minutes to 3 days.
Take vitamins to balance out what your body isn't getting enough of. I take biotin, fish oil, and a women's multivitamin, both my hair and skin have flourished!
Exercise! Even if it's walking around the block a few times, exercising is good for you and in turn good for your hair.
Drink lots of water. The whole 8 cups a day is a myth, but drink enough water to keep hydrated, your hair and skin will thank you.
Sleep with your hair down, or in braids. Pony tails actually cause strain on your hair and cause fall out
Never brush your hair when wet, or roughly. Use a wide tooth comb.
Sulfate free shampoos are the way to go. I don't believe in the no poo method, I just try to find shampoos that aren't full of chemicals.
