⭐️ Honey, Cider and Coconut Oil Hair Mask ⭐️

posted in Beauty
  • This is one of my favourite masks to use on my hair! The cider cleanses and removes build-up on the hair shafts and scalp and the coconut oil makes is soft and promotors growth. I'm not concerned with what honey does (because it's gross), but I love to use it in my hair, though prolonged use with this mask can cause your hair to lighten.

    (It lightened my caramel highlights.)

    - 2 parts coconut oil, melted

    - 2 parts honey

    - 1 part apple cider vinegar

  • I don't have a quantity for each set because it will vary for everyone depending on the length and thickness of your hair 😊

I usually use 2-3 tablespoons of each, maybe a bit more.

  • Mix all parts together, of course. Then you'll want you begin by massaging this into your scalp (focusing there for the most part) and work your way down to your roots.

I do that then tip my head over and massage my scalp. It helps to better absorb the oils. Then flip back over and run a wide toothed comb through your hair to distribute the masks, plus your hairs natural oils.

  • Then wash it! It usually takes me 3 times to get all of it out. If you don't, your hair might have a greasy tint to it.

This mask makes my hair silky and vet manageable with no frizz or build-up. It's also made it grow - I measured 1.5 inches, which isn't a lot, but I'm pleased with it 😊

If I have a good bit leftover (I usually don't), I store it in a small mason jar.

  • Like and enjoy lovelies!! πŸ˜ŠβοΈπŸ’‹
